Team-based upgrades

Fantasy FC cards will receive an overall rating boost of +1 and a Role++ upgrade if their team wins two of their next four matches. Teams that score 10 goals during the promotion period will reward certain player cards with a boost to one main attribute to 99.

Winning league titles will reward footballers with a +1 overall rating boost and another PlayStyle+. Meanwhile, domestic cup wins give footballers two big boosts - a third PlayStyle+ and a main attribute rating of 99 (e.g. England - FA Cup, Germany - DFB Pokal, France - Coupe de France, Italy - Coppa Italia, Spain - Copa del Rey).

Fantasy FC Heroes upgrades

Fantasy FC Heroes can receive up to four different upgrades based on the success of their historical club. Fantasy Heroes receive a +1 overall rating and Role++ if their linked club wins twice. Their clubs that score 10 goals in four matches will give these cards a main attribute rating of 99. While cup wins bring a PlayStyle+ and a 99-rated main attribute, and winning league titles bring both a PlayStyle+ and an overall rating increase.

FANTASY FC GAME MODES EXPLAINED

Fantasy FC features two exciting game modes to test your Ultimate Team skills. Each mode has its own set of challenges and special rewards that you can unlock by completing certain requirements.

Fantasy FC League

The Fantasy FC League is a competition with 36 matches divided into three phases. You will receive your first 12 entries on the 23rd of February, with further entries to follow on the 27th of February and 3rd of March. However, the squad you use must follow these requirements:

You can only have one player rated 89 or higher,
Only three players can be rated 87 or higher,
Team rating must stay at 84 or below,
Your team can't have more than three players from the same league.

Fantasy FC Cup

The Fantasy FC Cup runs alongside the Fantasy FC League and adds a new twist with Mystery Ball rules. This casual mode has eight different challenges that mix winning matches with specific team requirements. To take just one example, there are requirements such as having at least four Premier League players or three La Liga players in your starting line-up.
