How to Make Coins Fast in FC 27: Complete Trading Guide

How to make coins fast in FC 27 Ultimate Team trading guide

FC 27 has shaken up the Ultimate Team economy more than any edition in years. EA raised the coins you get for simply playing matches, made a lot more rewards tradeable and cut down the number of packs in the store. In practice this means that this season you earn coins mainly by playing and trading, not just by waiting for weekly rewards.

Below you will find the methods that actually work in FC 27: matches in Rivals, Champions and Squad Battles, objectives and the Season Pass, SBCs and trading. At the end we give you an honest comparison of grinding versus buying coins.

What changed in FC 27 and why does it matter for your budget?

EA announced the key changes in the official Pitch Notes ahead of launch:

  • More coins per match. In FC 26 a match in Rivals, Champions or Squad Battles usually paid around 500-600 coins. In FC 27 Rivals and Champions can pay several times more, and Squad Battles pays better too.
  • More rewards you can sell. A much bigger share of rewards from objectives and game modes is tradeable, and every Rivals reward pack is tradeable from launch.
  • Higher quick sell values. EA dropped the split between common and rare cards and moved player quick sell values closer to the old rare values. Cards that are not worth listing on the market now give you more coins than last year.
  • Season Points from every match. 15 to 100 SP per eligible match, up to 850 per day.
  • An easier road to Champions. You now earn Champions Qualification Points (CQP) in Rivals and Squad Battles as well, and the Division 6 requirement is gone.

The takeaway: in FC 27 it pays to keep playing even after you have reached your weekly rewards, because every extra match still adds coins to your budget.

New season, new budget
In FC 27 everyone starts from zero. Coins let you build from day one a squad others spend weeks working towards.

How many coins do Rivals, Champions and Squad Battles pay?

Division Rivals is the backbone of your weekly income. In FC 27 the gap in rewards between divisions is bigger than in FC 26, so every promotion noticeably raises your payout. For example, the Division 1 upgraded rewards include 95,000 coins plus several 83+ and 84+ player packs. Bounties, the extra single-match objectives, show up more often and speed up your weekly progress.

Champions is the mode with the highest ceiling. The 15-match Finals are back, with higher coin rewards than in FC 26. You qualify by collecting CQP, now also in Rivals and Squad Battles.

Squad Battles is the option for players who prefer playing against the AI. In FC 27 matches here pay more coins and Season Points, plus Champions Qualification Points. Play on the highest difficulty you can still win on, because your weekly reward depends on your results.

Are objectives and the Season Pass worth it for coins?

Yes. Daily, weekly and seasonal objectives pay you for things you do in matches anyway. Claim them regularly, ideally in the Companion App. The Season Pass rewards you by level, and you now collect Season Points in every eligible match, so the free track fills up just by playing normally. You will find the details in our FC 27 Season Pass guide.

Season 1 with Ones to Watch runs until 22 October 2026. During that time there are also single-player Ones We Watched events with rewards for each stage. Every event means packs and players, and some of them you can sell on the market.

Which SBCs make money and which ones drain your budget?

SBCs in FC 27 come in two forms. Classic SBCs ask you to build a full squad that meets the requirements. The new Streamlined SBCs work differently: you hand in eligible cards over several submissions until you reach the target score. Every card has a score based on its overall rating, rarity and whether it is a Holographic item. At launch Streamlined SBCs are available on console and PC, and they are due to arrive in the Companion App later in Season 1.

  • Use duplicates and untradeables for Streamlined SBCs. Check tradeable cards on the market first, because selling them is often the better deal.
  • Before any SBC, compare the cost of the squad with the value of the reward. Do not complete everything just because it is there.
  • Profit from other players' demand. When a big player SBC drops, prices of 83-86 cards go up. If you have them in your club, that is a good moment to sell.
  • Do not keep cards just for the Gallery. A card that is recorded in your Gallery history still counts towards sets after you sell it.

Remember that submitting an SBC is final. The cards you hand in leave your club for good.

How to make coins on the transfer market: sniping, bidding or investing?

Trading on the transfer market is still the fastest way to big amounts, but it takes time and discipline. Three core methods:

1
Sniping - you refresh tight search filters and buy cards listed below market price, then sell them closer to the market value. The most coins per hour, but it needs your full attention.
2
Mass bidding - you place low bids on many copies of the same card, win some of them cheaply and relist. Less stress, steady profit.
3
Investing - you buy cards that are about to see more demand (fodder for big SBCs, meta players) and wait. The profit comes later, but so does more risk.
Always factor in the 5% tax.

EA takes 5% of every sale. If you buy a card for 2,200 and sell it for 2,700 coins, you receive 2,565, which is a 365-coin profit. A card bought for 10,000 and sold for 10,500 gives you 9,975, which is a 25-coin loss.

New in FC 27 are Holographic versions of cards: Regular up to 87 overall and Pristine from 88 up. On the pitch they play exactly like the normal version; what differs is rarity and a higher score in SBCs and the Gallery. If you are buying a player to use in your team, do not overpay for the Holographic. Check Compare Price before every sale and never put your whole budget into one card.

When should you buy and when should you sell?

Prices in Ultimate Team follow a rhythm. At the start of the season coins are scarce and cards are expensive, because nobody has much to sell yet. Every week more packs get opened, supply grows and the prices of most cards drop.

  • Sell what you do not need early. Pack pulls are worth the most at the start of the season.
  • Be patient when buying. A card from a new campaign is usually at its most expensive in the first days after release.
  • Follow the calendar. Destined for Glory starts on 25 September. FC 27 will have fewer campaign weeks and smaller promo squads (15 cards per Destined for Glory week), and from Season 3 in December EA plans Series weeks, such as TOTY Warm Up, with no new special cards added to packs. Special cards will therefore be rarer than in FC 26.
  • Big events mean peak demand. TOTY in January is traditionally the best time to sell.
Dates and rewards can change.

EA may adjust the schedule and values during the season. Treat dates as a guide and always check current prices in the game.

Should you grind or buy coins?

Grinding costs nothing, but it takes a lot of time. Even with the bigger match payouts, building a strong squad at the start of the season means many evenings of matches and trading. If you would rather just play, you can buy coins and spend them on the market straight away.

At SuperCoinsy we deliver coins via Comfort Trade: you enter your EA account details and backup codes in the order form, and we handle the transfer for you. During delivery you need to stay logged out of the game, the Web App and the Companion App. Since FUT 21, 99.8% of our transfers have been delivered safely.

The risk is never zero, because EA makes the calls, and we do not hide that. How we support you in the rare case of an account issue after delivery is explained in our Post-Purchase Protection programme.

Are you in the opposite situation, with coins piling up faster than you spend them? You can sell them to us - see our guide on how to sell FC 27 coins.

FAQ: making coins fast in FC 27

Do FC 26 coins carry over to FC 27?
No. Every Ultimate Team edition starts with a new club and an empty budget. FC 26 coins stay in FC 26.
How many coins do I get per match in FC 27?
EA has not given one fixed amount. In FC 26 a match usually paid 500-600 coins, and in FC 27 Rivals and Champions can pay several times more. Squad Battles also pays more than last year. The amount depends on the mode, the result and your division.
How much is the transfer market tax?
5% of the sale price. Factor it into every flip, otherwise a small profit easily turns into a loss.
Can I trade in the Web App and the Companion App?
Yes. The transfer market works in both apps, so you can bid, buy and list cards without turning on your console. Streamlined SBCs are due to arrive in the Companion App later in Season 1.
Is buying coins in FC 27 safe?
The risk is never zero, because EA makes the calls. At SuperCoinsy, 99.8% of transfers since FUT 21 have been delivered safely, and our Post-Purchase Protection covers the rare cases of account issues after delivery. On your side, the key is to follow the order instructions exactly and stay logged out of the game during delivery.
