The EA Sports FC universe is vast and constantly evolving. You're probably wondering what items and data you'll be able to take with you with each new iteration of the game. What is transferable to EA Sports FC 25?
As you can see from the graphic above, you will not be able to keep most of your progress or data. On a positive note, you can transfer FC Points, one of the two virtual currencies. However, it is important to remember that this is a one-time decision and cannot be reversed.
Your Ultimate Team Club profile will remain the same, with the same name and establishment date.
With the release of EA FC 25, your starting position in Division Rivals will be based on the highest division you achieved in FC 24. This allows you to adjust your league to your level more quickly and earn more valuable rewards. New players will avoid confrontation with more experienced players in the early stages.
Collecting FC Coins in the next edition will start again from scratch. It will not be possible to transfer them. All sorts of cards, unopened packs, or unassigned items are other items that you won't be able to take with you to EA FC 25.
As you probably know, the end of the current season means a reset of your Ultimate Team XP. Soon you will start earning new experience levels again. Match records and history are another of the elements that you will start to build up once again. Your stats and progress will continue to be written as the next season progresses, and playing well will lead you to new Achievements and Trophies.
How do I transfer my data and items to FC 25?
The transfer of the progress will be available with the launch of access to the game for EA Play subscribers and owners of the Ultimate Edition. You will be notified of transferable items when you log in to the latest edition. If you have not played FC 24, you will not be able to transfer your UT profile or FC points from older versions.
Transferring FC Points from FC 24 to FC 25
FC Points are one of the few things you can transfer to EA's latest title. You can transfer your saved points until 31 December 2024 at the latest, but remember that this is a one-off decision that can't be reversed.
The first time you log in to the same account, you will be prompted to transfer your saved points. The pop-up window will show 3 options to choose from, here they are:
- Transfer all FC Points from EA Sports FC24 to EA Sports FC25.
- Leave the accumulated points in your FC 24 account.
- Postpone the decision to a later date.
Once the transfer is complete, you will not see the message again, and any remaining or newly purchased currency in EA FC 24 will not be transferred.
Cross-platform transfer options
FIFA 23 was the first series to allow cross-platform play from release. The cross-platform combination results in a single Ultimate Team transfer market for PlayStation and Xbox platforms. PC and Switch players still have separate transfer markets.
Unfortunately, despite the introduction of these options, there is still no cross-platform progress transfer. So if you switch platforms with the upcoming EA Sports FC 25, your data and items will not be transferred, even if you use the same email address. The only way to transfer your progress to the new version of EA FC is to use the same platform as your previous game.
Depending on whether you want to transfer progress from an old or new platform, from a previous or current series, there are 3 possible transfer options. Here they are:
Option I - As long as you use the same account, you keep all your data and progress.
Option II - With this option, you keep the transferable items while using the same account.
Option III - This option keeps everything related to UT mode.
In other cases, no progress is transferable.
